Located at 2907 Central Ave NE, Lowry Repair Center is a family-owned and operated shop with roots in the community dating back to 1968. Today, owner John continue a story that began long before the Lowry Repair Center name drivers know today.

From Butch and George’s to Lowry Repair Center

The shop was originally known as Butch and George’s Repair Center. John had joined the team In 1983, and that year George retired. He stayed as the business evolved, eventually purchasing the shop when Butch retired in 2004. Not long after, John’s son Jeff joined at the shop shortly after graduating from high school in 2006.

That history matters to us because Lowry Repair Center was not created overnight. It grew from decades of working on cars, getting to know customers, and building a reputation one repair at a time.

Cars have changed dramatically over the years, and we have changed along with them. We work on both older and newer vehicles, with a focus on domestic models and Asian imports. Our shop handles nearly everything your vehicle may need except wheel alignments.

Our equipment includes computer diagnostic tools, A/C equipment, a coolant flush machine, smoke machine, hydraulic press, and brake lathe. Our technicians are also ASE certified. Whether you are trying to keep a longtime family vehicle going or need help diagnosing a problem on a newer car, we take the same thoughtful approach to the work.

Repairs are backed by a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty, and free loaner vehicles are available to help make getting around a little easier while your car is in the shop.
